Lori Plate, RN, LNCC
Ms. Plate joined R&G in August of 2003 as a Nurse Analyst and was promoted in 2005 to Director of Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Litigation Support Services. In April 2007, Ms. Plate accepted the position of Project Director for R&G’s Aggregate Litigation Division.
She attended the University of Arizona and earned an AD in Applied Science from County College of Morris in New Jersey. While in New Jersey, she was part of a team effort to implement a peri-operative computer system from start to finish. This included building screens, data entry and end-user education (ORSOS™). Ms. Plate has also been honored with several customer service awards throughout her career.
Ms. Plate studied business management at Farleigh Dickinson University as well as nursing at The University of Phoenix. She has held specialty certifications in both critical care (CCRN) and post anesthesia (CPAN) and has served as a Director of Critical Care and Post Anesthesia Care Units. She completed an advanced management training course with the Eastman Kodak Company and is an accomplished speaker captivating audiences with her energy and enthusiasm.
She has more than 26 years of nursing experience in critical care and post anesthesia recovery, working both at the bedside and in management roles.
Ms. Plate stays up to the minute on current clinical knowledge and mentors new project directors in the legal nurse analyst management role. She thrives in a short-deadline environment and manages her project teams with a “can do” spirit. She is a very skillful manager and resourceful in meeting client needs.
She is a current member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and maintains certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant (LNCC).
